We are at a modern times, if your loving mother named you "Kulasa" or "Serapio," would you be happy to be called by such names? Or you might say "yucky yuck!" Lol!

I believe name add an appeal to your character. Somehow it reflects the virtual you. And I don't think you would name the virtual you with such a disgusting name.

Yeah! It has to be unique! Something really from fantasy! And with lots of appeal! Imagine , how can the "virtual you" face other characters with very futuristic names and yours is so plain and old-fashioned. (Is that the term?).

If you are having trouble naming your characters, then there are character name generators that could help you. Take for instance the Dungeons and Dragons Character Name Generator. It would even give you surname for your character.

And when you say excessive gaming, it means most of your time are eaten by your gaming habit. Thus making your day less fruitful. Unless, you work in a gaming company; wherein gaming is a way of life.

I have a friend who is a fresheman in college. Most of us would describe him as the "Certified Game Addict," simply because he spends at least 7 hours of game time per day. He is a genius when it comes to his favorite game. Ask him anything, and he'll give you accurate answers in no time.

Gaming become a part of his system. As if without spending a few hours doing this would mean his life. His addiction continued to grow each day until a point where he can no longer notice that gaming has eaten his whole time and forget a more important part of his life, his studies.

I created this site not only to give information on what good games you should try; but also to tell you to be responsible in spending your time. Gaming for sure is fun. But always remember there might be other things you need to prioritize before your favorite video / online games.

The WoW Europe team recently banned more than 114,000 accounts for game exploitation, primarily due to the use of bot programs.

In our continued efforts to combat cheating in World of Warcraft, more than 114,000 accounts have been closed across Europe in the month of April for the use of “bot” programs. The banned accounts were taking part in activities that violate the World of Warcraft Terms of Use, specifically, using unauthorised third party programs to automate game-play. Such behaviour not only negatively impacts the game’s economy, it diminishes the achievements of those who play legitimately.

It is our goal to provide a fair and enjoyable play experience for all World of Warcraft players. To aid us, we ask that you abide by the Terms of Use, which, among other things, provide for the security of your account details, payment methods and login information, all of which can be compromised if you choose to use third-party services or programs.

I was at SM North Edsa last night to watch Spiderman 3. I arrived at SM at around 7 PM. To my surprise, all the 12 cinemas at SM North Edsa are showing only Spiderman 3!

And since I wasn't able to reserve a ticket earlier, I need to beat the long lines.

Imagine that! 12 cinemas and still the lines for the ticket booths are loooooong!

Well, finally I get inside the cinema. And I think this movie is really highly anticipated. Why? Simply because the cinema is full.

And I can say the movie is really awesome! The special effects, the villains, and the fight scenes are really breath-taking.

This movie is highly recommended.

I won't tell much of the movie, specially the story, simply because I don't want to spoil your excitement once you watch this movie. Go! Go! Get a ticket now!

E-GAMES DOMINATION A BLAST!

E-games DOM1NATION last Saturday was a BLAST!

Earlier, I was informed by Sir Mike of E-games that the event will start accepting guests as early as 9 AM.

I arrived at Le Pavillion at 10:30 AM., and as expected, I caught the long lines.

Lazy, Lazy me. I should have come earlier.

It took me one hour to get inside Le Pavillion Hall. I thought that was it. To my surprise, I need to fall in line again for the registration. Long wait! Well, that I think is understandable considering this is a very big event.

Finally I got my passport to get inside Le Pavillion .

My arrival was greeted by a performance of the band Slapshock. Though I am not a fan, I continued watching them to ease myself for the long lines. The pavillion is ruled by excited fans.

All the games, RAN Online, O2 Jam, Audition Online, Supreme Destiny, Dreamville has their own corner and events.

There were over 200 computers inside the pavilion where fans could play their favorite Online Games for free for the whole day.

Hu---wat!!!!! Yes For Free!!!! Sana andun ka rin para libre ka rin. Lol!

Performances of famous bands like Slapshock and Hilera will surely thrill you. But I was more thrilled by the Freestyle Dance performance of the Philippine All Stars. I became their instant fan that very moment. Lol!

At 2:30 PM, more and more E-gamers are coming in. As I take a peek on what’s happening outside, I can see that there are still long lines for the registration booths. Le Pavillion is now jampacked with fans.

Though it’s getting hot inside because of the great number of people coming in, I can still feel the high spirits and energy from the looks of all E-gamers.

Surprises and gifts are also given away during the event. If you missed this event, you can still feel the fun and excitement through thier webcast.

While checking for the latest news about E-games Philippines , this caught my attention,

Yes! It's the E-gamer Loyalty Card.

Would it mean bonus e-points? Lots of Freebies? Or maybe a set of Computer?

I found no link regarding this E-gamer Loyalty Card so I hurriedly catch my phone and start dialing the Customer Service Line of E-games Phils.

To my surprise, the customer representative who answered my call doesn't know what privileges I could get from this card. And aside from that, the card is not yet available according to him.

Well I guess my eyes caught some dust and I can't read PROPERLY the statement on their ads which says, GET IT NOW!!

Well, anyways, the customer representative told me to wait for the DOM1NATION, which will be held on April 28, 2007 at Le Pavilion, Metropolitan Park. That day, according to him the cards will be given as well as the mechanics and the privileges loyal e-games followers will get. And That's three days from now.

On April 16, 2007, the world was shocked by a sad news. At least 33 persons are found dead, massacred at Virginia Tech., USA. This incident was considered the worst US Shooting.

After hearing the news, one question that popped into my mind was if this incident was related to violent video games. A U.S. Lawyer, considered an expert, Jack Thompson, with no hesitation pointed that violent video games like Grand Theft Auto Vice City and Counter-Strike (which is by the way very popular in the Philippines esp. to teneers) should be put into blame.

According to news, Warrant Reveals No Games In Cho Seung Hui's (the person responsible for the massacre) possession.

But I believe wether this is related or not, parents should guide their children especially the minors on what video games they should try.

I was browsing the largest and smallest section of Guiness World Records looking for cool stuff, when I saw the article on the largest cellphone on the planet.

Oh my gAwd! I don't think I'll carry it on my back whenever I go places. Hehehe.

The phone was created by Maxi Handy (Maxi Mobile). It measures 2.05 x 0.83 x 0.45 m (6.72 x 2.72 x 1.47 ft) and was installed at the Rotmain Centre, Bayreuth, Germany, on June 7, 2004 as part of the 'einfach mobil' infotour. I saw number of kids playing Gunz Online when I visited my favorite Internet Cafe. From their faces, I can see the fun and thrill their having while on gameplay.

One observation, because of their excitement, it's a pitiful sight to see them almost ruin the keyboards (Lol!) they are using just to kill the enemies and eventually become a hero. Later, the Internet Cafe staff approached and asked them to be a little light with the keyboard (which is by the way the controls being used for the game).

I was thinking that maybe the excitement, the gameplay and the characters they are portraying are running through their very veins. And at that moment, it is like a reality of battling with their online enemies.

This morning while checking the www.onrpg.com Forum, I was surprised. The Forum is flooded with topics pertaining to GRANADO ESPADA. Some expressing their happiness because they got invited to the game Closed Beta Testing.

Disappointment for me because I have not received any invitation for the CB Testing. And of course I want to update you all ahead of others how good or bad this game.

But just this afternoon, after a very tiring gym workout, I received an e-mail from GRANADO ESPADA telling me that I am selected on the Closed Beta Testing of the game. Waaahhh! That's a good news!

When the news spread about the release of Silkroad Online Philippines (SRO-PH), one thing that came into my mind is my character in "SRO-International" version.

RF ONLINE - Free To Play

It maybe an old news to others, but to some it is still new. Did you know that Korea's RF Online (RFO) is already Free To Play since last year? To quote the article posted at mmosite.com,

Recently, Korean-based CCR Inc. announced that after they started to "charge for in-game items" in replacement of the standard monthly subscription package for RF Online, on September 27th, the number of new users increased 25 times.

I know some of you also wish that same thing will happen to RFO - Philippines, just like my friend who is a certified "RFO Addict."

Well, just last year, Tantra Online also shift from monthly subscription to "charge for in-games items," and I believe that it brought increase in the number of Tantra players. I may not have the actual data (for the increase); but based from my actual observation from nearby internet cafes, increase in Tantra players happened since they applied this scheme.

I hope Level Up Games, who is the distributor of RFO in the Philippines, will take this into consideration.

Will You Go For WINDOWS VISTA?

That's the question. Will you go for Windows Vista? As reported by Philippine Star, today marks the launching of Windows Vista in the Philippines. To quote,

"Microsoft Corp. will officially launch in the country today in a grand event its newest products - Windows Vista and Microsoft Office 2007, ending the long wait of computer enthusiasts.

Dubbed as the biggest launch in IT history, the unveiling of Windows Vista and Microsoft Office 2007 will start with a 100-man bicycle caravan from Ayala venue and proceed to Ortigas, passing through EDSA, then on to the SM Mall of Asia where a press conference will be held..."

I have read several good features about Windows Vista, but I am still thinking wether to move from my Windows XP. Will this be a good move in gamers point of view? Let me quote Gamespot article,

"....if you want to play games with advanced DirectX 10 graphics, you're going to have to upgrade to Vista. Windows XP owners will be left behind in the graphically inferior world of DirectX 9 once Vista arrives. The real debate for PC game fans is when to upgrade to Vista. "

TANTRA - Looks Like The Mudha Dungeon Monsters Took Something From Us

It was excitement that enveloped the community of Tantra because of their announcement of the Mudha Dungeon Update (which is by the way, they considered one of their biggest update for this year). After going Free to Play, here is another bonus from Tantra, an update. New monsters, new items, new weapons, new adventures, and most importantly another level of enjoyment.

As I watch Tantra followers rushing at a nearby internet cafe, asking the netcafe Administrator if all the computers are already updated, you can see from their eyes their excitement to try the newly patched Tantra.

But, Wowowee! There is a commotion (Is that exagerrated?)! Why? Some of their game items and their TP recovery just disappeared, which is by the way, actual money was spent to have these. Waaaaah! That sounds so disappointing.

Anyways, let me copy Admin statement:

It's patching time again for TANTRA. While I am writing this posting, at the same time I am updating my TANTRA. As announced by TANTRA Management, this patch (January 31, 2007 - Patch) is one of the biggest for this year. Mmmmm. Patience, Patience!

So what's behind this very big update?

--This Update is because of their new addition to the game which is the Mudha Dungeon.

I wonder what's inside that dungeon.

--We could expect numbers of stronger and poweful monsters inside the Mudha Dungeon. Some of them: Cali, The Dark One , Kramunchana - can control the wind , Damunchana- he can control the fire and lots of monsters.

But worry not. You can get new and high level weapons and armors from the Mudha Dungeon Update.

2Moons - My Experience

At Last! I was able to play 2moons.

The game is very amazing for a Free To Play Game. Graphics is superb. And yes it is true, graphics resembles that of WOW but with a GLOW. Character movements are very fine and into details. Sounds is also good.

There are six characters to choose from.

The Azure Knight
Segina Hunter - The Archer
Incar - Magician
Segnale - Assasin and Healer
Vicious Summoner
Bagi Warrior

From the six classes of Characters, I thought I could customize or change their sex. But it is not the case. As I go choose my character, sexy and beautiful Segina Hunter (Archer) caught my attention. The lady wears a very revealing outfit. Mmmm. LOlz!

To give you details on how they look like here is a flash link.

As I enter the game, a notice that a player should be at least be 17 years old to play this game. Which will give you a hint that this game is R - Rated.

And it is true. Perhaps the reason is the combat/fighting scenes which is almost realistic. As you kill the monsters, you could see the blood spatter around. Unlike other Online Games, once a monster is killed, they will just disappear.

There is also no filter for words in the Chat System. Yes! You can say anything you like. There is a big space for freedom that you can even curse in the chat.

Another feature of this game is the fishing system. Literally, you can catch fish for the replenishment of your health or magic and for money (can be sold to NPC). And I think this is a nice feature. If you get tired of killing monsters and doing some of your quests, at least you will have a diversion.

I haven't played or seen much of this game but I can say (basing from my own experience) that this game will be one of the hottest for this year. I promise to tell you more stories of my experience on this game in the coming days. By the way, you may now register for an account at http://2moons.acclaim.com/ .This is not an assurance that you may already play 2Moons since they are still in Closed Beta. 2Moons Online - YES! I Finally Got My Invitation

Just this morning, I received an e-mail stating that my application for Closed Beta Testing for 2Moons Online is already approved. After waiting for a long time (that was I think 2 months since I filed my application. --- that's very long!), I will now have have the chance to try this game. But wait... I don't have the Game Client yet. Aahhh! Another hurdle I need to take.

As of this moment, I am in the process of downloading the Game Client. And I hope (I'm crossing my fingers now!) that my internet provider which is Bayantel will not disappoint me this time by giving me intermitent internet connection (they did that to me when I downloaded Dance Online Client and I need to download it all over again!). So much for that.

Once I get the Game Client, Installed 2Moons, and tried the game. I will tell you without delay my personal experience on this game. But for now let me direct you to a link, a video uploaded by a fan.

Last January 15, I was lucky enough to be invited at the Closed Beta of Acclaim DANCE!Online. Since I have Audition Online Installed at my PC, it took me some time to try DANCE!Online. Last night, out of curiosity, I tried installing this game at my PC (BTW, it took me 4 hours to download the client with my broadband connection).

My own assessment: This game is quite fun. And Yes! It made me move to the beat!

Item Shop is available for your Outfit (Tops, Bottoms, Shoes, Gloves, Glasses, Masks, Hair Color, Special Items) Easy Access to Keyboard Controls. You can use A=Left, Right=D, UP=W, Down=S or The arrow Keys for Left, Right, Up, and Down Commands or combination of ASWD and Arrow Keys. What's good with the system is you can customize the commands. Unlike Audition Online you are locked to the Arrow Keys only for the Left, Right, Up and Down commands.

PC Compatible Game Pads can also be used for the game. (Sounds like DANCE REVO)
Camera View can also be changed according to your preference.

Capable of Single and Multiplayer.
